At the real estate development and management firm, I developed and executed successful marketing and operational strategies for various luxury food halls, driving foot traffic and increasing revenue for major real estate stakeholders like Boston Properties.

Restaurant Conceptualization

In a restaurant design project, I efficiently managed budgets, identified contemporary design trends, and curated spaces tailored to a specific target market. I strategically allocated resources to achieve a cost-effective yet aesthetically pleasing outcome. The concept reflects modern dining culture, blending design and functionality seamlessly. I collaborated on menu selection to ensure a cohesive relationship between the culinary offerings and the overall ambiance.

RealEats

At the DTC meal kit company, I worked with their leadership team to elevate and evolve their brand and messaging. This resulted in increased brand awareness, organic engagement, and revenue from new customer segments. Overseeing the creative and content divisions, I planned and executed large-scale commercial photoshoots–organizing chefs, food stylists, photographers, and videographers; overseeing set development, shot list creation, prop sourcing, and day-of-shoot logistics.

  • Aiding Female and Minority Small Businesses

    When one of my favorite restaurants closed due to the pandemic, I was concerned about the changes COVID-19 would bring to local communities and economies. Its human toll was already devastating.  It was, however, just beginning to be clear that COVID would be a profound disruptor in every area of our lives. At the same time, I saw countless professionals in my network who struggled to find a sense of value and purpose. Like many people, young professionals were unsure of how they might contribute to combatting this pandemic. In April 2020, I founded Rem and Company and began helping small businesses and nonprofits navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. At Rem, pro bono teams of professionals were built to support local businesses. Each team worked closely with their assigned business to provide support in strategy, marketing, financial planning, digital transformation, user experience/web design, etc. What started as a one-person social-impact initiative, today has a network of over 1000 young professionals dedicated to donating their time to ensure small business success. I’ve engaged corporate executives such as the former president of LVMH, Founder of Panera, CEO of [Solidcore], and Former CEO of Hardee's/Carl’s Jr in conversations about business strategy. Although my vision was born out of COVID-19, Rem and Company continues to address issues that have been around long before it, including issues of systemic racism, economic disparity, and access to resources. 

  • Empowering Students

    As the founder and lead for curriculum development for Rem on Campus, I  developed its hands-on education model “Learning, Applying, Leading”. This model has served as a springboard for professional development, no matter what industry students aspire to work in. Rooted in problem-solving and social impact foundations, it’s been recently recognized as a key recruitment differentiator for top tech companies, consulting firms, and investment banks interested in collegiate talent. Through Rem on Campus, I have partnered with universities nationwide, including Stanford, Princeton, Vanderbilt, Washington University in St Louis, Georgetown, and many more to give students proactive resources for their future careers. 

  • Advocating for Aspiring Creatives 

    After speaking to high schools domestically and abroad about how to set students up for an evolving workforce, I was asked to join the board of The High School of Fashion Industries. Since 1926, the school has been providing students with innovative learning opportunities! With majors like fashion design, business, software development, and visual arts, The High School of Fashion Industries is recognized as not only one of the highest-performing schools in New York City but also as one of America’s best high schools. Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about providing students with hands-on experiences, coursework that is forward-thinking, and access to engaged mentors who are invested in their success, and am thankful that I get to contribute to this institution’s mission!

Through Cornell Univeristy, I was able to focus on business contracts and their role in creating strategic partnerships and negotiating deals. This specialized education has equipped me with a thorough understanding of contract law, negotiation techniques, and the intricacies of business agreements. With the tools to meticulously analyze and draft contracts, I safeguard my clients' interests and mitigate risk while fostering mutually beneficial relationships.
